The 80s saw an explosion of music which changed the landscape of the UK. When Soul became Northern in the North, down South things went a lil slower & funkier ….soul, funk, jazz, hip hop etc.

We had great artists like Earth Wind & Fire, Jocelyn Brown, Luther Vandross, George Benson into Jazz Funk like Incognito and Roy Ayers – meanwhile Disco/electronica exploded into House music.
